Q: What kind of activities are available for seniors?

Q: Where are senior activities offered?
A: Senior Activity Center – 2101 Thomes Avenue, Cheyenne

Q: When are activities offered?
A: Activities are usually scheduled Monday through Friday with some evening and weekend opportunities.

Q: Do I need to make a reservation or sign-up for an activity?
A: Most activities do require pre-registration.

Q: What do I need to do to participate in activities?
A: An annual Intake/Evaluation Form and Release must be completed to participate in all services at the Senior Activity Center. Most activities require pre-registration and fees (if any) to be paid prior to participation.

Q: How is my personal information used?
A: Information obtained is a requirement for grants received from the State of Wyoming Aging Division and the Federal Administration on Aging. All information is securely kept and shared only with the State of Wyoming Aging Division.

Q: Who qualifies to participate in Activities offered at the Senior Activity Center?
A: Individuals who are 60 years of age or older, the spouse of someone 60 or older, or who are disabled and live in a facility with a senior meal site on location may participate in activities. Younger or non-qualifying individuals may participate in activities if space is available and not utilized by a qualified individual or senior.

Q: How much do activities cost?
A: Costs vary depending on the activity. There is usually something available for everyone’s budget.
