Q: Where are meal sites located?

Q: When are meals served?
AL Meals are served daily at the Senior Activity Center from 11:00 to 1:00 p.m. and Monday through Friday from 11:30 to 12:30 p.m. at all remaining locations. Breakfast is also offered at the Senior Activity Center Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: No
Q: What do I need to do to receive a meal?
A: An annual Intake/Evaluation Form and Release must be completed to receive a meal for the suggested donation of $3.00.
Q: How is my personal information used?
A: Information obtained is a requirement for grants received from the State of Wyoming Aging Division and the Federal Administration on Aging. All information is securely kept and shared only with the State of Wyoming Aging Division.
Q: Who qualifies to participate in the Nutrition Program?
A: Individuals who are 60 years of age or older, the spouse of someone 60 or older, or who are disabled and live in a facility with a senior meal site on location may participate in the meal program.
Q: How much does a meal cost?
A: The suggested donation is $3.00 per meal. Guests must pay $5.00 per meal. Meal tickets with 11 punches are available for the price of $36.00. Meal ticket assistance is available upon request.
Q: May I request special diet meals?
A: Meals served are dietitian approved and meet 1/3 of the recommended daily allowance of vitamins and nutrients required for individuals 60 and older. Diabetic exchanges are available upon request.
Q: May I take a meal home?
A: We are considered a Congregate Meal Site which means that meals received for the suggested donation are served and eaten on site. Carry-out meals can be purchased for $5.00. You are welcome to take any leftovers on your plate home (please bring your own containers).
